Teacher Resources

TEACHERS! Wanting to switch up how you teach fractions in your classroom but cannot figure out a good way to accomplish this? Here are five great websites I have discovered from searching the web. Let technology help you improve your classroom!

Looking for some new ways to spice up fractions in the classroom? This teacher's blog has many fresh and new ideas to help teach fractions and even incorporating some fun fraction games into Family Math Night! I know these are definitely some ideas I will use in my classroom!

In a tight squeeze and need some lessons on fractions? Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful resource that has lots of lesson books that can be a great resource in your classroom for all different grade levels!

Need some fraction resources? Teacher Treasures has some great games for your students to play at a great price for teachers: FREE! Some of my personal favoorites this website has to offer are The Fractions All Around slideshow and Fraction Bingo!

For teachers who are looking for some extra practice on fractions for their students, look no further! This website provides teachers with a lot of free worksheets for students. I recommend leaving these in your classroom for students who finish an assignment early to get some extra practice or as a great resource for parents to look at to help their students if they would like more practice with fractions.

Have visual learners in your classroom? One blogger has found five amazing websites that lets students explore fractions visually! However, the link to Thinking Blocks Math is incorrect, for the correct link, click here.
